Nancy R. Schlichting started at Lenhart Obenshain in 2004, after practicing as a partner at a large firm in Florida for 16 years. Most recently, she has concentrated her practice in representing collection cases, foreclosures, lender liability and bankruptcy proceedings and individuals and corporations in real estate related litigation. She also handles corporate disputes including shareholder disputes, business dissolutions, and commercial litigation. Her previous experience includes trust litigation, will contests and litigation relating to health care in the areas of risk management, guardianships, licensure, physician credentialing and peer review.

- Handled difficult guardianship proceedings involving incapacitated adults
- Served on a pro bono basis as a court-appointed guardian ad litem for abused children
- Successfully defended will contests and handled trust litigation
- Represented hospitals in numerous peer review proceedings to terminate physician privileges
- Defended physicians in peer review proceedings, and has served as a Hearing Officer presiding over such proceedings
