Nancy R. Schlichting practiced in Florida for 16 years before moving back to Virginia. She has concentrated her practice on corporate disputes including shareholder disputes, business dissolutions, and commercial litigation. In her commercial practice, Ms. Schlichting has defended insurance companies in Director and Officer liability cases and handles various contractual disputes, with a focus on representing individuals and corporations in real estate related litigation and banks in collection cases, foreclosures, lender liability and bankruptcy proceedings. Her previous experience includes trust litigation, will contests and litigation relating to health care in the areas of risk management, guardianships, licensure, physician credentialing and peer review.
